Pacific Island Artists
Are you a Pacific artist*
or their agent / manager ?
Send us your new music!
We only accept submissions of professional, radio quality mp3s of new music that has been released within the past few months.
GENERAL RULE :
The Pacific Top 20 gives priority to songs that have an island (or reggae) sound, an island theme, and/or is sung in a local language, over songs that are mainstream in style - Pop, urban, etc
As always, we reserve the right to air and publish that which we judge useful and necessary.
* Who do we consider as a Pacific artist?
Residents of all of the Pacific island countries and territories of Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia can participate in our charts, depending on their musical style.
Regarding artists from Australia and the USA:
Even though each of these countries has a Pacific coastline, they are not considered as Pacific island nations, nor are they integrated into Micronesia, Melanesia, or Polynesia. Their economic development makes them world leaders in musical production.
The goal of the Pacific Top Twenty is to promote music from the Pacific and to give artists from the smallest, most isolated islands the opportunity to have their music heard beyond their own shores.
As a result, artists from Australia or the USA are not considered, except those from Hawaii. We will make an except for expats and their descendants who are originally from a Pacific country or territory and who reside Australia, the USA, or elsewhere in the world. They may participate in the charts if they represent the place of their ethnic origin.
